My real flex? Living for an audience of One — God

In a world that constantly pulls our focus in different directions, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. When you take a step back and align yourself with the purpose that’s been set for you, everything starts to make sense. 

Living with faith, the applause of the world fades away because you’re anchored in something deeper, something real.  We have been called to be set apart in

this world, to be in this world but not of it. 

“Do not love the things of this world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father but from the world.”

1 John 2:15-17

We are no longer ruled by sin or the principles of the world.  As believers we are changed into the image of Christ, causing our interests in the things of the world to become less and less as we mature in Christ!!
